Tags & Plates Material Color Swatches

Below are color swatch examples of our Anodized Aluminum and Plastic colors. Colors will vary. We do not guarantee color consistency.

Anodized Aluminum

Our anodized aluminum is available in several color choices – Black, Blue, Gold, Green, Orange, Pink, Purple, Red, Silver, or Turquoise.

Anodized Aluminum tags are the best choice when you require a colored metal tag due to the anodizing process. This process permanently seals the dye color into the pores of the aluminum under a glass clear, sapphire hard, oxidation layer making it a permanent part of the aluminum itself. This transparent oxide makes the surface of the tag very scratch resistant. The engraved tag will remain readable for an extended time even in harsh conditions where it may be subject to abrasion, severe weather conditions or harsh chemicals.

When laser engraved, the color of the engraving is white in contrast to the tag’s surface color. With this said, please keep in mind the engraving will show up better on the darker colored tags.

When rotary engraved, the engraving is silver in color, contrasting to the tag’s surface color.

(Sept 2023) Please Note: Gold material color is changing from a light silver/yellow gold to a darker yellow/orange gold. See new color swatch below.

2-Ply Plastic and 2-Ply Phenolic Plastic

Our 2-Ply plastic is available in several color options: Black, Brown, Dark Blue, Dark Green, Light Blue, Light Green, Brushed Metallic Gold, Brushed Metallic Silver, Orange, Red, White, and Yellow.

2-Ply consists of one layer of tag face surface color and then a second layer of either white or black. Engraving goes through the first surface color to reveal the second contrasting layer. That second layer is the color of your text.

3-Ply Plastic and 3-Ply Phenolic Plastic

Our 3-Ply plastic is available in several color options: Black, Dark Blue, Red, White, and Yellow.

3-Ply consists of one layer of tag face surface color, then a center layer of either white or black, and then a third tag back surface color layer. Engraving goes through the first surface color to reveal the center contrasting layer. That center layer is the color of your text. 3-Ply plastic tags may be engraved on both sides.
