Q: Is there a Minimum Order amount required?
A: On this website, there is a minimum order dollar amount of $100 on non-custom stock item blanks, hardware and accessories. On all engraved, custom and printed products, there is a $200 minimum order dollar amount required. Products have their own minimum quantity requirement. See the specific product page.
Q: What are the expected Production Variations?
A: Please keep in mind that any and all mock-ups/proofs are digital renderings, and as such may result in the final product experiencing some variations. Material colors, as well as mockup/proof colors, will vary. We do not guarantee color consistency and cannot match colors.
Q: Is there an extra charge if each of my engraved tags will be engraved differently?
A: No, you’re only charged for the fact that it is an engraved order. This includes anything you need engraved on those tags. However, if you need the second side of the tag engraved as well, there is an extra charge for that. You’ll choose that in the product page when you’re creating your order.
Q: What are your Lead Times?
A:
• In-Stock blanks, hardware and accessories orders usually ship in 5-10 business days, but may be subject to delays (see Delays in Lead Times below).
• Custom blanks and Semi-custom blanks orders usually ship in 10-15 business days, but may be subject to delays (see Delays in Lead Times below).
• All engraved orders usually ship in 15-20 business days, but may be subject to delays (see Delays in Lead Times below).
• All digital printing orders usually ship in 15-20 business days, but may be subject to delays (see Delays in Lead Times below).
Q: What about Delays in Lead Times, Shipping and Delivery?
A: Please contact us for ship date on critical deliveries. Delays in shipping, delivery and lead times may be experienced, due to unforeseen circumstances such as fluctuations in inventory levels, heavy workloads, delay or shortage of production materials, and other causes beyond our reasonable control, without any liability on Inland Products LLC’s part for delays.
Q: If I choose faster shipping will my order be shipped immediately?
A: No, expedited shipping requests do not guarantee immediate shipment. Please contact us for ship date on critical deliveries. Please refer to the lead times above for expected amount of time needed to manufacture before shipping.
Q: Where does Inland Products LLC ship?
A: We ship anywhere in the United States and Internationally using USPS Priority or UPS. ALL INTERNATIONAL orders will incur an additional $25.00 International Documentation Fee.
Q: What is the Return Policy?
A: All claims must be made within 15 days of receipt of merchandise. Returned unused blank stock items, hardware and accessories will be accepted only with a prior authorization and may be subject to a 15% restocking fee. Returned order shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer in most cases. Custom, engraved, and printed orders are not returnable. Please see Section 8 of our Terms and Conditions for a full explanation on our return policy.
Q: What if my order was lost in transit?
A: As a courtesy to our customers, orders that have been lost by shipping companies or the postal service will be replaced at a cost of only 50% of the original order. Replacement shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise determined with the shipping company involved.
Custom Specification Products FAQ
Q: Can I order tags, plates and labels in custom shapes and sizes?
A: Yes. All our custom product offerings are made-to-order. You can specify any shape, size, hole pattern, and other customization requirements to fit your exact needs.
Q: Which material is most durable for outdoor use?
A: Stainless Steel tags offer exceptional durability and are the best choice for harsh outdoor environments, providing superior corrosion and weather resistance. Anodized Aluminum offers a more economical, still durable metal tag, with color options available, but the anodized colors can fade over a few years with direct sunlight exposure.
Q: What is the standard lead time for custom tags, plates and labels?
A: Our typical turnaround time is approximately 7-10 business days, depending on complexity and quantity. Rush service options may also be available but are subject to current manufacturing circumstances. Call for information.
Q: Are your metal tags and plates suitable for industrial or extreme environments?
A: Absolutely. Our laser etched Stainless Steel and Brass tags are particularly suited for heavy industrial use, chemical exposure, or extreme temperature fluctuations.
Q: What marking methods do you offer for tags, plates and labels?
A: We primarily offer laser engraving/etching, and digital UV printing. Laser engraving/etching is a permanent and precise, high contrast marking. Digital UV printing offers the visual impact of full color, as well as durability. Additional marking methods may be available. Contact us directly for information.
Q: Do you offer discounts for bulk orders of custom tags, plates and labels?
A: Yes. We provide quantity discounts on larger orders. Please see the Quantity Discounts table on each product page for quantity breaks reference, or contact us directly for a custom quote or pricing details.
Q: Can tags, plates and labels be printed in color?
A: Anodized Aluminum is offered in several color choices and when laser etched, results in white text and graphics. In contrast, digital UV printing offers full-color text and graphics and is primarily offered on silver anodized aluminum, or within our highly durable epoxy label process. Additionally, UV printing may be possible on stainless steel or brass. Contact us directly for information.
